Hi! I'm using the integrated im with icq transports. It basicly works but it seems that there is no contact list like iam used to from pigeon. There's just the n800 addressbook. All contacts seem to be in there but there online status is not shown correctly - most of the time. Does that work fors everybody else ? Also is there a way to show only the online contacts ? Even if the status display was correct it is annoying to scroll through the whole list, just to see who is online.

This is the easy way to set it all up.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're trying to do - I only use google talk and nothing else. Have you set up the contact shortlist applet? No idea how it would work with other services, but my on-line google talk contacts show up there just fine. (After I figured out the way to get them imported from google - must select 'show in quick contacts Always' in my gmail setup.)

I'm probably answering the wrong question though

Sorry, thought it did, using that method and GTalk all the contacts show up correctly all the time.

As I say the transports work fine with the setup in the article and I always know when they are online both my 4 top contacts in the desktop app and everyone else in "contacts".

In "contacts" you just click "online" in the navigation tree on the left.
