Nokia does pay attention to this community and even guys from Nokia use Titan's kernel; but the communication between Espoo and Palo Alto doesn't seem to be the very best.
Whether the guys from Nokia use Titan's kernel doesn't matter when it comes to working on Maemo. Any of their work would normally (at least in any other developmental situation) be targeted to what would be considered a "clean" or "stock" N900 which means the default kernel. Since that's what the N900 is sold with.
When i install titans released fcam-drivers 1.0.5.1_armel.deb then immediately I get an update for the drivers in the app manager.. "fcam-drivers 1.0.5-2" now will this conflict if I update it or should I ignore it?
Yes it works like described, and with the update notification. I think that would overwrite titans modules, so i wont update the fcam-drivers, till titan or fcam developers fixed this.
I have build a completely untested package of the fcam kernel modules for the maemo38 kernel (should be compatible with v37). please test it and report whether it works.
Offtop: Where I can download maemo38 kernel?
is there?
n900.tannerlab.com/kernel/usbhost/
You can't yet. Titan has said he will be releasing it this weekend. Anything you download from his site other than the stuff linked here I would say USER BEWARE!!

Ignore it for the moment. I would bet money that -2 is not built for his kernel. He is shortly to release ver 38 of the Titan kernel and has said that it will contain files that should fix the conflict with the standard fcam drivers.

Yes i kinda figured that so i ignored the -2 fcam drivers. Thanks!
