Hi!
I had nearly the same problem with my N800 trying to take control of my MacBook Pro (same thing w/ my previous PowerBook G4) through VNC. I was using the default VNC server coming w/ Mac OS X 4.10 (which is available throught the remote desktop - or something like that - panel).
Since recently I'm using Vine Server and it works like a charm :-) maybe except the keyboard (French layout) which is not fully supported: any clue around?

I cannot wait to try that app. Are there any other mac laptop owners out there experiencing the same problem? I'd be curious to see where the issue lies... with the vnc viewer or on the mac side.

i have used vine server on my iBook with my 770 and have never had a single problem... i leave my laptop at home and while im at school i connect to it to get anything i need. sometimes i make my iBook email my papers to myself then i pull them up on the school computers and print them. But that's only when i forget them at home

I have installed the vnc viewer .6 on my nokia 770 running itos 06. The viewer connects and I can control my ibook's (OS 10.4.10) cursor remotely, however, the viewer's screen on the nokia shows nothing but black? What am I missing here? I have played around the the options prior to connecting, but nothing has made my ibook's display visible in the viewer. Thanks for your help.
