Sorry if this is a dumb question, but:
I hear people "talking" about using their cell phones to scan for available networks.

Question: Is the N900 capable of doing this, and if so:
What are the step-by-step directions?

I looked at everything on the menu, but was unable to find it.

go to menu/settings/phone/network_selection and choose manual. it will scan for available networks
