Hi, I am having same issue, widget does not update me, it always says "no new status ( or some like that) I have uninstalled it few times but it doesnt help.
Also, can someone tell, how can get it show "via N900" when I update my facebook status via N900. Right now it simply shows my status as if I have updated it via pc.

I've been fighting weeks with the same issue of Facebook widget not updating. I tried uninstalling it couple of times, and deleting facebook sharing account, and adding it again, and deleting and adding back the account from the widget. None of these worked.
After reading this thread i uninstalled the widget and downloaded it from Ovi webpage. I did a lot of those shenanigans i mentioned before and i didnt get it to update, untill i re-added my facebook account from the widget options.
So re-install the widget from Ovi, and then re-add your facebook account details to the widget from its configuration, and it should work again.
after logging out and uninstalling then reinstalling,
the widget just lands on my desktop as it was before
for some reason uninstalling is not removing everything
also tried deleting all facebook stuff from app mgr
does anyone know how to manually remove the app and all the data so i can get the widget log in screen again?
i have managed to remove the week old statuses from the widget by deleting everything i can find related to facebook via winscp, then reinstalled the widget from ovi store
it now says: 'you do not have status updates'
and nothing else
i want it to have normal working regular updates like it did up until a week ago
it still opens my account without asking me to log in, even though ive reinstalled it
which is strange
