Yeah, I was going to upgrade to the XL but now I've heard about the 3DS... It will most likely just be emulated 3d using head tracking, but apparently the hardware has been upgraded meaning better games so i'm in heh heh

Can anyone actually get games to run on the desume emulator for the n900
I REALLY want to play pokemon for the ds
and when ever I load the rom it doesnt work

Its pretty much not worth your effort, even the most basic of games runs very, very slowly. Also chances are you aren't selecting the "Run" option after choosing a ROM.

I am not working on DeSmuME port anymore. AFAIK noone is working on Maemo port.
So if you want progress, stop asking "are we there yet", but roll your sleeves up and start jamming the code. ;P

This is the problem with open source devices. People stop developing programs because of the lack of loss and that's it... Please tell us if money could help you out...

Not really. Money will not fit more hours into a day, do they? 
But... Once my PS3 arrive with it's DS3 controllers (I left it at Poland), I will start feeling that urge to play Giana Sisters DS again...
