Same here Q, I have yours in the popup smiley window but they still don't show in the txt window when pressed it's the old ones from my theme showing.
One other thing they are slightly to big to fit the squares in the popup smiley window, shouldn't they be 48x48? Should I put them somewhere else, like scalable?

Anyway really nice job Q

You can change them to 48 if you want! but i like them a wee bit bigger.. yes they will fit better if they are 48x48.

works fine on my N900 ? I will look into it for you... sorry for any problems.

I have just checked mine and I have put them in 48x48... they are a wee bit big! but as i said thats the way i like them... I'm using modded version of black plastic theme maybe that has something to do with it? but I really don't think so...

I have added a screen shot to show you how it looks on mine..

ps you could put them in.. opt/usr/share/icons/********/hicolor/48x48/hildon

I'm using the maemoitalia_graffiti_theme and they are in 48x48 and in 24x24. I changed them to 64x64 and 28x28 (original when opened in gimp 116x116). The latter seems a bit to small so i think they're gonna have to be slightly bigger

Anyway i had to put them in:
/usr/share/icons/mytheme/48x48-24x24/hildon
to make it work

Hmmmmm You could make them 96x96 and 32x32, but keeping them in 48 and 24..

As i like to see just the face ! thats why i have them at 116.

Qosmio mate, are you working in Photoshop? If you are and you want me to crack on with other alternative flag faced smileys do you want to send me the basic psd's and I'll adapt the flags to suit? Shouldn't take too long at all..... PM me if you want to do that, more than happy to help out
