I replaced my unit to another new one

and it works works works really fine with OpenStreet maps.
Really great application.

I am glad it works. Feel good for you.
I would like to contact developers of new features in mm
and test making vector road maps from tile images.
Worked in processing of medical images and it should work.
Thanks again

Are you in the medical field? What medical images you are talking about?
Like, MRI or CT?
Is it possible to have all your applications installed on mmc card
and boot Nokia 770 from flash card ?

770 has only one slot, takes only MMC card; and it has internal flash, but no
flash card. I am not quite sure what do you want to boot from.
Yes. All my apps are on MMC for the 2006OS and boot from MMC. I am in the process of moving 2007He2007.36-2 to the MMC too, as the internal flash getting overcrowdy and slows down the 770.
Today bought active usb hub and look for the way to install pc usb keyboard, usb disk drive and other usb enabled software
and have it all working.
Please let me know your opinion.

Darius, if flite and proj are not in your "Browse Installable Applications" list (they're in the Utilities category), then please add the following Application Catalog to your Application Manager:
Catalog name: Maemo Extras
Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras
Distribution: gregale
Components: free

for a week I am trying to install maemo mapper in my Nokia 770.
I have visited any and every possible website , downloaded .install, .deb packages and still can't install it.
Please give me only one valid web link to a working maemo mapper package.
Please use tinyurl instead of a full-line long url address.
John, developer of maemo mapper, provided me with 3 ways to install maemo mapper and none worked to me.
.install installs nothing, empty
.deb can't install,
another .deb looking for dependencies libraries avaliable in OS 2007.
My OS 2006 , latest version.
Please help me to test this excellent application.
Or please sell me another Nokia 770 unit, new or used one, with preinstalled, fully-working maemo mapper package.
Thanks.
