    Unable to send emails via Nokia Messaging

    I have had the device for about 3 months and I have never had problems sending emails before, however over the last 3 days when I try and send an email it just sits in my outbox and then after a while it says failed.

    I receive emails fine so this is baffling me.

    I've noticed a similar problem was addressed however that is specific to getting an error 500 message and I don't get that. I tried the work through anyway but it still didn't solve the issue.

    Any help will be very much appreciated.

    sometimes nokia messaging does behave weird and in that case i have deleted and re added the particular account and it works normal again. why dont u try the same.

    Nokia messaging is not free. What is available is free trail. So maybe your trail period is over.

    if the trial is over he wont be able to receive mails as welll. and it would be asking for password all times and nt able to connnect so this is definately not that. u delete and re add ur email account to nokia messaging and see. might work

    So yesterday I had this exact problem where email messages are queued in the Outbox and stay with a status of 'Sending'. I have a MfE account set up and it can send with no issues.
    I tried a few things - switching connections, deleting the message and sending a new one to no avail.
    I removed the Nokia Messaging account, rebooted, the added it again and was able to send.

    Today though - exact same darn problem!

    This occurs whether I'm on packet data or wifi. I flashed to PR1.3 when it was released which wasn't too long ago. Since then I've had this or other problems (not receiving at all, or receiving but no notification) with Nokia Messaging.

    Anyone have any ideas? I'd really hate to flash again - even with a backup it's time consuming to get everything the way I like it.

    I'm having the same issue where nokia messaging just does not refresh, i'm also using PR 1.3. When can we expect an update/upgrade to the nokia messaging on the n900?

    FWIW I wound up going back to IMAP/POP3. I re-flashed (again, but not the home/user file system - too much of a pain) and found my sending problem still existed.

    It was nice while it lasted I guess
