has anyone had any experiences with the transfer of pix and whatnot to facebook locking up?
i am in the process of sending 3 pix to my facebook account using the file transfer app (dont know if its petrovich actually or maybe a native maemo app)
so the images started uploading then i got a transfer error and now i cannot stop or kill the process and i the files that are in cue are being help captive by the one that is locked up and frozen and i cannot kill the process to be able to start it again.
did that..... the wondow opens but then when i go to cancel the transfer it just flashes open then closes so fast that i cant even click to cancel the upload.... =(
Primarily we need to understand if you are using the Facebook plugin and sharing app downloadable from Ovi Store or if you are using another filesharing app - Petrovich uses Bluetooth to send files to other Bluetooth devices therefore it is unlikely to be Petrovich.
If it is the Facebook plug-in and sharing app then what you have to remember is that it will not initiate a connection automatically, you first have to be manually tethered to an internet of some description, whether it be WiFi or 3G / HSDPA - so make the connection before you try to share a file through it or you will get it stuck in a queue....
