Thats quite lucky.. ive actually looked for where i could have lost the magnet, but no luck..

I contacted nokia care.. and well they want me to sent in the entire phone.. theres NO WAY im going to do that lol

i Superglued my magnet back in the other day... been fine since! dunno for how long thou. It can hold my fingers together for almost an hour though so hopefully a while!

You could buy one of those thin bendable self glueing magnet stripes and cut it yourself and glue it in. Make sure its the right pole (+/-).

The guy who made the repair guide said that won't work - those types of magnets are much weaker.

I just super glued the loose magnet back in place. it lasted a few weeks and came off again. one month on still going strong. Rubbish situation as I actually use the kick stand quite often.

If only the one of the stand is gone, theres no problem because it was iron/steel anyway. Its not magnetic. Only the one attached to the N900 istelf is magnetic (but not stronger than a normal refrigerator magnet). So ist easy, just glue a piece of steel/iron in it.
