can someone help me? dont know what i doing wrong. my friend sent me a few rar files using sendspace. if i download them using n900 the wont extract, says empty archive. But when i use regular computer everything is fine. what gives?

Try downloading using a different browser...?

I don't know "SendSpace" but it might not work as it should with MicroB (the default browser).

Also in the File Manager hold Your finger on the file long enough to show the context menu and select details (check for size etc.) Maybe the file wasn't downloaded fully?

What do you use to extract rar files on the N900?

as far as i know you can not extract rar files in this device per default.

there is a command line based tool in app manager thou, which should do it. but that not userfriendly.

there is unrar for n900 =)
