I have the following setup today that I would like to work:
- Streaming source: STB Receiver Azbox Ultra HD
As far as I could see, the source is MPEG (I could not determine which type) and 640x480 for most of the SD channels I have.
- Streaming receiver: N810 + MPlayer
For some strange reason I cannot get the N810 + Mplayer to open the UDP source (I mean, format) from the Azbox.
Using Windows + VLC I'm fully able to open it and then I can redirect the flux to N810 using MPEG2 (800 kbit/s, half of the resolution)+MP3 with a nice quality.
If I redirect, the N810 works perfectly. But I cannot get it to work directly from the Azbox.
So far I got the following ideas:
- Azbox runs Linux. However the software (as far as I could see) does not allow me to change the settings for the streaming functionality. I could try to change it somehow (if I figure it out) and lower the quality, etc, to suit the N810.
- Or to find a way to get the N810 + some player to open the UDP stream.
So...
Does someone has any idea? I'll try to check today at home with the VLC what is the correct MPEG type streamed by the Azbox as well.
