I stupidly did an update to 2.2.0.245 and now I have no phone function got an error message on screen "all telephony functions are disabled. To recover reboot the device" but this does not help.
Any idea on what to do?

you are refering to ovi suite 2.2.0.245

did it install the drivers when you plugged in your phone in pc suite mode?

try taking battery out while phone is still on...remove sim and then put them all back and try a reboot.

can you give me some more info please.... firstly is your phone working ok now?
and what o/s do you have ?

ovi suite will not recognise your phone if the drivers are not installed on the pc.

He asked about Ovi because the version number you gave sounded more like a pcsuite or ovi suite number than a version number for Mamo 5.

If you downgraded software on N900, telephony might stop working.

The version number can be found in settings->about product
example: 10.2010.19-1

I have had the same problem, also panicked! you need to re-flash your device and it will be fine.
