    psx4m --loadcd myimage.iso should be psx4m -runcd myimage.iso

    Oops, that's what I've typed. Here's copy-paste from terminal:
    psx4m -runcd Need\ for\ Speed\ 1\ \[PSX\].iso
Could not open bios:"/home/user/MyDocs/scph1001.bin". Enabling HLE Bios
    Running : Need for Speed 1 [PSX].iso
    Show FPS OFF
    Show GPU Stats OFF
    Display Video Memory OFF
    Set NULL GPU OFF
    Interlace Count 0
    Frame Limit OFF
    Frame Skip 0/1
    Abe's Oddysee Fix OFF
    SOUND IS ON
    Segmentation fault

I'm sure the bios is needed in MyDocs. Cant test it at the moment as my n900 is unzpping a file a is unresponsive. On the first post there is a link to a guide that has the bios image. Try putting that in MyDocs and see if you get the same problem.

Could someone post their "usual" commands to launch a game?
I use psx4m -runcd FFIX.iso and it runs fine. Also works with psx4m -runcdbios FFIX.iso (runs it through the bios) so might be worth trying that??

With -runcdbios it goes a bit longer; I get full black screen for few seconds, then it disappears and segfaults back to terminal :P

out of curiosity, does it segfault if you use psx4m -runbios game.iso? This should bring you to the memory card management page.

No, it opens the card managment just fine. Allthough I wish I could remap my keys.. now I need to push shift+right arrow to get down arrow and shift+left arrow to get up (I have finnish kb).

in that case it may be the files that are causing it. from the working games thread there a few people that have had seg faults on some games but not others. are you using pal or ntfs versions of the games as ntfs have a higher success rate.

    Try /home/user/psx4m -runcdbios /path/to/file.iso(or bin)
