I'm sure the bios is needed in MyDocs. Cant test it at the moment as my n900 is unzpping a file a is unresponsive. On the first post there is a link to a guide that has the bios image. Try putting that in MyDocs and see if you get the same problem.
out of curiosity, does it segfault if you use psx4m -runbios game.iso? This should bring you to the memory card management page.
No, it opens the card managment just fine. Allthough I wish I could remap my keys.. now I need to push shift+right arrow to get down arrow and shift+left arrow to get up (I have finnish kb).

in that case it may be the files that are causing it. from the working games thread there a few people that have had seg faults on some games but not others. are you using pal or ntfs versions of the games as ntfs have a higher success rate.
