I don't care about multi-touch yet. And I don't know what kind of screen will be the best one when I'll have to replace mine.

But, once when I tried to turn alarm off, it couldn't notice my finger. I had to pull out stylus. When I repeated the experiment, it noticed my finger easily. Why was it so? Murphy's law: it stops working when it is expected to work, and it starts working when I try to check it.

Returning to the topic: I'll not take anything new until old one works. I'll not install another OS while Maemo 5 is supported. And I'll not look for multi-touch unless I need it.

Until something is out with at least 8.1MP camera, HD video recording, qwerty keybord, at least 800MHZ processor, 512MB of ram memory or more, and MAEMO, or anything where multitasking is equal to my N900, I mean, where I could SEE all the windows's programs running the preview in real time! With only one tap of the finger like MAEMO 5

I will definitely keep it for a few years. Mine has been serving me well for half a year, so it is very likely that I will stick to it for a long time.

If you're running Windows and have a 102 key keyboard (standard with numeric keyboard), you can try to find the right alt+codes for the g (alt+103) and e (alt+101) (also G(alt+0071) and E(alt+0069)). It is only possible if you have the numeric keypad though.
