Im not a fan of the screen and not being able to use it with my nail (i've got veeery sweaty hands and it's uncomfortable to use the screen with my finger)
I use an angle where the edge of my fingernail meets the start of my flesh. Gives it a sort of pseudo-resistive feel. Its a Windows Mobile thing hangup... one of very few.
Hey guys. After 9months with my device I have to say i'm fed up with waiting.
I was patient... and then a bit more patient, and again. Battery life, proximity sensor, loosing video quality are just a few issues I encountered.
And it doesnt seem like they're going away anywhere soon either.
I was patient... I even started to carry a charger in my pocket with me 'just in case' and damn i used it a lot.
Good shout out to the community, with irc and forums it was veeery helpful.
one of the best things about n900 is the community around it, the help, support, ingenuinity and teamwork, people really feel part of this community, and if they wish to say farewell then this only proves the point. i freakin loved my n95 but i never felt the urge to tell the world as a whole when i moved on, i may yet do when i leave n900. so for all the people sick of seeing goodbye posts - dont bloody read them! really, who forced you to click the thread, scroll, read and reply? dont tell me the thread title took you by suprise! i can see the cathartic value in the OP's post, where's the merit in yours?
Just a thought,
will there be any action or reaction from Nokia if tomorrow this communiyy is left with only 2 members.
and by tomorrow i mean immediate tomorrow all members deleting their account.
