this happened to me before. i uninstalled fmms but when i went to reinstall it, it said i was missing python. i checked and it was already installed with latest version. Had to reflash emmc and fiasco. it sucked donkey schlong....especially since i hadnt backed up in a while. but it did solve the python issue.

just do what i did enable extras testing and see if that works cause thats how it worked for me after days and days of trying to uninstall and install **** again haha

This sounds like https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11031 which should have had the package in question pushed manually now.
