Mobile maps 10 for Maemo will be available soon as a free update from Mobile maps 9. Unfortunatelly I’m not able to tell you exact date of release, hopefully it will be in about a month.

This is the default answer from Sygic. Five months ago I asked him for the Brazilian Maps....the answer was "hopefully it will be in about a month". Three months ago the same question....and the same answer.
For some reason the months has more than 30 days for Sygic.
I agree that this is frustrating. Why does everything N900 related have to be sooo sslllooowww. Every release is fraught with problems and delays and I have yet to see a stated date or timescale estimate deleivered withing 4 weeks of what was promised. And that includes the launch of the N900 itself.
IS the annoying bug fixed where you loose GPS signal after using maps 10 for a while, when charging the n900? I thinks its very annoying to restarts maps while navigating.

I have tried going to Ovi Store and redownloading UK Maps and Ireland however my phone says that maps is already installed and it won't install version 10.
