I saw this video on Youtube the other day about this proposal of instead of 4 horizontal homescreens having a grid of 3x3 homescreens with 2d swipping (including diagonals), allowing for a total of 9 homescreens with each screen always reachable from any other screen with just a single swipe; do you know if we ever gonna have that option with the N900?

It could also have a option for auto-move-back-to-main-desktop after x amount of time

That would be someting, lets hope someone gets this done. Cant be that hard to implement.
