    The physical keyboard lights just turned off

    I was surfing the web when this suddenly happened...Does anyone know how to turn it back on, please?

    If rebooting doesn't work check if the sysnode exists.
    Post the output of

    sysnode is nowwere to be found...this is what i got:

    Actually, the sysnodes exist, so it's probably not a hardware issue.
    Again, did you try to reboot?

    Although stopping mce is not a good thing this is for testing purposes only:
    In a root shell:
    Code:
    stop mce
    for x in 1 2 3 4 5 6; do echo 255 > /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-2/2-0032/leds\:lp5523\:kb$x/brightness; done
    # keyboard lights should be on for about a second or less
    start mce
    If the kb lights did go on, it's an mce issue, apt-get --reinstall install mce in a root shell to reinstall it.
    If not, you could reflash, but I'm guessing it's a hardware error.
