Edit: settings are all default, haven't touched those yet.

Tried it numerous times now, at least 5 times

Reported the issue to sygic last week and again and still no answer. I have received the upgrade email again though, now the 4th time I have had the same mail. Are they taunting me

Disabling the interactive (or something like that) menus seemed to stop the program segfaulting on my device. It also made the whole program run smoother.

Night mode is not automatic anymore.

in portrait mode not all info in the bottom fits and is overwriting eachother.

Wow this is by far the worst official release after a far better beta release i have ever seen in software.

The beta of maps 10 was far better. where everything did work properly!

Its like they uploaded the wrong version to the users!

The beta version did overheat the n900 when charging. and would result in crashing the GPS chip after half an hour of driving. They really should fix this fast!

i have been using sygic for several months now and i have not gotten the email yet containing either a link for the upgrade, or the upgrade itself... where were you able to get yours from? i have been eagerly awaiting the OTA upgrade but according to sygic the sh1t isnt available yet on ovi.com yet.

any help would be appreciated

sucks u all are having such issues. i guess i was in a good mind to enjoy my working v9 for a little longer before makling the upgrade. i will follow this thread to see when the best time to make my upgrade is.

i also have USA and EU maps, though i have only seen upgrade info for maps 10 USA come through my mail though. is EU v10 even avauilable yet?

Yup. That was one of the first things I did and it did settle down considerably.

I mount my N900 in the car in portrait orientation. The problem with that is... Sygic won't start in portrait mode. In order to make it so, I have to take the N900 out of its mount and rock the accelerator. This kind of defeats the whole secure mounting thing.

This was the case as well with the final MM9 build. The work around was to rename the menu.ini file located in \Sygic\Drive\Maemo and the default menu had a "Rotate Display" icon in settings that when touched would change it to portrait.

That^ same hack works in MM10 however, now when "Rotate Display" is tapped I get an instant crash and the program closes.

I'll keep playing with this until live traffic becomes available. If that turns out to be nothing exciting, I'll revert back to MM9 where "Rotate Display" does work and makes It more useful for me.

address book is really wierd.

it doesnt list all the address/contacts. and the format is odd in how it shows.

ineffective and a waste of time to try it.

I also have both USA and EU, but have the opposite problem. They have only sent me the EU download link.
