their will also be a new multiboot and rootfs release once one of the above items is sorted (probably be the wifi one at this time)

Will the new multiboot also support BackupMenu (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=58633) and fix the reboot issues from Maemo to Maemo (currently I always have to turn the device off completely and then turn it on again) and the charger issue as well (it seems to be impossible to boot while charging)?
    Would be really nice!

And does the improved WiFi support include AdHoc WiFi?

As said previously adhoc is not natively supported in android and not easy to add in. Backup menu is a shell script so not supported. Can say rebbot is fixed and iirc charging to

I noticed that sometimes in Nitdroid my battery doesn't get recognized, it gets the '?' in it. then my led starts flickering red.

    Just reporting, if helpful.

I just signed in took about 60 seconds to sign in under existing account. I installed this only today from the page one info and have only just started the wifi up and gone sign first time to the market place. Hope that helps.
