When I select my Bravia KLD-32EX405 as the media renderer, MediaBox hangs and the TV reboots. I can use it as a media renderer with Windows 7 thought. Is this a known bug?
This particular bug (if it is one) is not known. My range of UPnP media renderers for testing is rather limited so it may not be compatible with many renderers out there.
But the TV rebooting? Wow! Did you feed it with some media format it cannot handle?
It would be very great if you could use Wireshark or a similar tool to record the network communication between Windows 7 and the TV for media renderer stuff (the traffic until the file loads on the TV) in pcap format.

Feeding it with a media format it can't handle would cause an error message in the TV, reboot is the first time I see. I'd like to help debugging, should I install wireshark in my N900 or in my notebook (opensuse)?
Best would be to install wireshark on the Windows 7 PC because otherwise it might not be able to record the communication between Windows 7 and the TV.
Thanks for your help!
Does this happen always? I'v been using sleep timer on 08.08 on the N810 for last few days and it always fell asleep and woke up properly. So I guess I need more details on this.
Yes it happens all the time.
I have a N810 WIMAX Version 5.2010.16-1.
At one time it use to work but never version 2010.8.8.
Thanks for saving me from endless hours of headache. I experienced the same and yes, I did install telescope from extras-devel, too (which is great, btw).
It is a bug in Xomap compositing (telescope uses compositing) with Xvideo. The known workaround (with both osso-media-server and mplayer) is to press the fullscreen button two times.

No Problem!
SInce I know I lack the skills to program, I figure I am eminantly qualified to Id10T proof other's efforts..
It's too bad, 'cause the new version of Telescope is awesome.
