I use T-Mobile in SF and get a decent EDGE connection. Something around 10-13kilobytes/sec with a good signal. I use both a Nokia 9500 and a Nokia 6680.

I would be wary about buying a non-Nokia phone to pair with the 770. It looks like the 9300i is out in europe, or is coming soon anyway.

Except for the fact that I wasn't really lying to the account rep - I DO need a Windows Mobile device for work.
