But along with the speed optimizations you might want to have a look at the text strings also and remove excess clutter - such as "Number of messages: 1209" might be better with just "1209 messages". See my point? Also a tiny detail - no need to emphasize that line by making it oblique - it's already significantly smaller than the line above it making it clearly distinct.

Any chance of supporting custom icon sets?

And I know this was totally off topic for this thread but I couldn't help blurting out my opinion. Keep up the good work!! Maemo apps sure need all the possible help with UX they can get

It looks promising. This client supports multiple accounts? If yes, does it have a "refresh" button on the first screen (when you open the client)? Sorry I don't have my N900 now...

UPDATE :

i just uploaded the new grr package which fixes the scroll bug in web view
now to select the text you have to double tap on a paragraph.

Very nice update to the application...

In particular landscape is very appreciated and nice big "next" buttons.

My only request is for offline download of articles. E.g. mark a feed and select download all articles.

yes it's there, and if you look at the dates, grr is updated 17 august so today ;-)
