Has anyone mounted their n770 in the car using some sort of windshield mount? Any ideas ..thanks

You can rotate any of these "long ways" but it may block port/charger access...

Maemo-mapper is best used if the N770 is mounted properly on the dashboard. I am trying to avoid mounts holding the N770 at the bottom as that seems to be sensitive to stresses and develops cracks easily. The closest I found is Arkon's PSP mount although it might not be a perfect fit and it might obscure buttons.

Has anyone got experiences? How do you use the N770 with Maemo-mapper in your car?

I mount my Nokia 770 to the windshield, near my rear-view mirror, using a mount similar to the ones referenced by thoughtfix. I can use one or more of the ports if I set it off-center, but I don't usually use the ports. It vibrates a bit on rough roads, but otherwise, it works great.
