I suppose that some of you have seen this video about how to improve the feel of the keyboard slider and I woul'd like to try it

but my question is if do this voids the warranty of the phone, because in the video is not any warranty seal or some system that demonstrates that the phone has been tampered.

Well if a repair centre opens your N900 and sees electrical tape that will surely raise some questions.

I should think that you would definitely void the warranty since you opened and separated the other half to get to the slider's innards.

prolly they got a test unit to fiddle with

mine is just a few months old and the loose slider also bothers me but i think ill get by haha i do not have the courage to dissect this phone yet
