Ok Im sure everyone has seen the leaked N9 pics on the web and I believe some were posted here on the maemo forum. will it be safe to say that maemo will be fully compatible to flash on the device...meaning all of the new features will work...ie hdmi out? I just asked because I think im attached to maemo.. I can't let it go lol

No, you won't be able to use Maemo5 on it and expect everything to work.

what are you all babbling about here? it is more than clearly stated that n8 will run the new symbian 3. you can probably forget about maemo AND meego for that matter, unless some lean-mean-got-nothing-better-to-do-haxor ports maemo to it.

Look at the title he said n9 not n8, n8 will run symbian but the n9 will run meego.
