But seriously: you think YOU are confused. I don't get your point at all (assuming). It seems you want to develop for the tablets BUT you don't think Nokia should be producing a device that people can develop for.

And you want to install apps to it from a... CD.

Did I get that right?

I'm thinking you should sell your N800 immediately and buy an iPhone or somesuch. I get this strange idea (I know, going way out on a limb) that you just might not end up being happy with a device designed for open source. And I can assure you that its CD player sucks.
