Hi. I'm a N900 owner using 3g on a prepaid SIM with some regularity.
I pay a fairly low maximum per day. I'd like to have a cronjob to automatically disconnect the GPRS connection everyday at 23:59 to avoid paying for the next day accidentally.

"ifdown gprs0" doesn't work...

Any tips would be much appreciated.

You can start and stop connections via dbus. I can't find the exact script right now but this will help you get started

I'll definitely need to work on my dbus knowledge to understand where to go from there...

If anyone knows the precise command needed, please let me know.
