I'm Sparticus.

I am just thankful to Nokia for creating 18 apps for me and creating ovi store just for this real N900. That's the real reason the ovi store is empty. They are only creating the apps for the only N900 in the world. And that is sitting in my hand.

I've seen a few people with N900s, but actually I prefer the feeling of having something "special or unique" rather than a device every other human being has.

However, the real key to successful sales numbers is, that the device must appeal to both guys and gals. N900 isn't one of them.

I finally saw my first one in the wild the other week. It was about 12:45am and I was at a gas station in the Northern Va area picking up a pack of smokes, these two indian guys walk in and try to buy beer. I had a 6 beers left over from a 12 pack a buddy and I split earlier in the evening and decided to sell it to them. One of the guys needed change to get the beer, so he runs into the store and the other one is out there with me. The guy out there explains to me that they didnt know beer sales cutoff at midnight out here, and then his phone goes off. Its a N900!! I said to him "Holy Sh*t dude your phone!" He gets a confused look and is like huh, so I say "As$hole, your phone look!" and pull mine out. His eyes light up and he says "Oh wow, you're the first person I met that has one too" He was visiting my area from new york, and after that I was so geeked out, I ended up giving them the beer.

My dad bought my girlfriend's N900 a few weeks ago... She went back to her iPhone as the N900 was a little to geeky for her... My dad loves it though (he's 58 btw)...

Besides him, one of my colleagues got one after I got mine...

Nice to be one of the few (I work with a lot of geeks but most of them have either Android devices or iPhones)...
