Hi

First what I have done:

1.Build and run OpenCV2.1.0 and a application with Qt(I can see my webcam imagen) on Fremantle x86.

2. Build and compile OpenCV2.1.0 and application with Qt(obvious without being able to execute it) I saved the build openCV on a folder called lib_armel.

Now my problem:

When I try to copy the lib_armel folder of OpenCV on the directory of N900 device(maemo5 on home/user/Mydocs/tmp, using USB) I get the following message:

"Filesystem does not support symbolic links"

and it's because into the folder library I have symbolic links

how can I solve it?

Thanks

Ruben

Hi Ruben,

Three solutions:

1. replace the symlinks with copys, or
2. copy the folder through ssh/scp to your home folder (/home/user).
This folder has the right filesystemtype to support symlinks, or
3. if you can not use scp, put your folder in a zip archive (tar.gz),
copy the archive (using USB) to your MyDocs folder and than
you can use xterm on your device to copy and extract the archive
to some other folder in your home (/home/user/tmp for example).

regards
Nicolai

Yes, this is correct. Currently the latest version we have in garage and extras-devel is 2.0.0 (and I've just taken over maintainership) but if someone wants to contribute later portings to Fremantle that would be appreciated!
