Dear all,
I am reading some posts about releasing of Sygic and OVI maps in order to make the GPS navigation of nokia N900 worth. Could you please explain me about these 2 features? is it available?

Sydic and Ovi maps are availible, ovi maps is standard installed on your device. Sygic is a tirth party application, wich you have to pay for.
With ovi maps free navigation is possible,maps are also free, but there is NO VOICE guideance. Sygic is a full navigation,with voice guideance. For more info see www.sygic.com

Sygic Mobile Maps is not available for the Middle East as yet, amongst other areas (only available for Europe and North America at present, or last time I checked).

Well Travla, I live in the Middle East, to be more precise in Saudi Arabia, and Sygic has a very very accurate and up to date map structure for this location. For the UAE, Sygic also provides the option to locate the speedcams, infact it has given me warnings when i was there on several occasions...

I am using Sygic for Gulf Countries, Maemo.

Sygic doesn't have the latest world maps!
I can't buy it since it doesn't really have New Zealand map version yet.
