Hi,

good idea is to set up Nokia Tablet (770/800) users Clubs Network world-wide with real human contact, contact e-mail, contact phone number and real contact place.

If you are interested and would like to be named Nokia Tablet Guru,
please send your contact details.
Name:
e-mail:
phone #
contact place:
city:
country:

I have already spent a month trying to master my Nokia 770
and still have no idea why some applications ported to Nokia 770, published in maemo, don't run.
Contacted some developers of maemo applications but some didn't respond at all.
Linux is difficult for users of PDA, GSM, smartphones, PC computers running Windows.
As Nokia said.
Tablet is a commercial product
but software is is free.

Frankly speaking I would like to pay for flashing service, like I pay for simlock removal from gsm phone.
I would like to buy professional application ported to Nokia 770/800
from time to time.

I see no chance to modify, develop an application ported to Nokia 770/800 on my own and in due time so I would love an opportunity to share costs , donate developers to have applications modified, to meet my needs one day.

It would be nice to contact developers, Nokia Tablet Gurus peer-to-peer one day and to talk and buy good software products.

Mayby Nokia Tablet Clubs Network is a good solution.
Please let me know your opinion.

I really see no other chance to have any influence on development of, modifications to some applications ported to Nokia Tablet.

I am interested in plugins to maemo mapper, modifications to bt-plugin,
but at the present state-of-the art, all I can do is to contact application developers, showing no interest in such contacts.

Ok, I was advised to go to guru.com.
But there no Nokia Tablet Gurus at guru.com.

So please tell how can I pay for some porting of Nokia 770/800 applications to meet my needs ?

bt-plugin ( I would prefer to use two bt gps units as fix lost on one gps unit could be replaced by fix on another).

maemo mapper is ok, but I would like to develop POI database, tools
I get used to Google Maps API as I can develop interesting javascript applications.
Unfortunately. maemo mapper is a closed application, the same bt-plugin.

Greetings:

I'm not a Nokia Tablet Guru, but I surely love my N800.

It would be great to have at least one Nokia Tablet Meetup in my City.

So if there are other Montrealers who would like to chat about the Nokia Tablet, I'm all for it, and would help in settingup the meet.

There are a number of great Cafes in Montreal which have free wireless Internet.

So if you live in Montreal, Canada, and want to have a Nokia Tablet Meetup,
lets hear from you.

Regards Robert

Excellent idea Robert,to have free hotspot/ free wireless Internet Cafes to host Nokia Tablet Users Clubs world-wide.
Please give some contact details to your Cafe and your
Nokia TABLET USERS CLUB in Montreal
and how to contact your and your Cafe in real world.
Transition from virtual world f Internet furoms to real world is sometimes really hard.
So please provide us with some real data, contact data of your preferred Cafe.

Good idea is to design Club Logo and have it in all Cafes and other free wireless Internet places world-wide, hosting Nokia Tablet Users Clubs.

I was fully exhausted trying to master my tablet in Internet forums virtual world and having no helpful hand in real-world.
Thanks Robwert.

Good to hear someone from Raleigh. You ought to come back to visit. Raleigh is now growing from broomdust (80s) to become a big metro, hi rise glass reflection buildings in downtown Raleigh is becoming a common feature. I have moved to Chapel Hill long back, but I am still consider myself from Raleigh.

Cheers,

Greetings Darius2006:

First of all there is no Nokia Tablet Users Club in Montreal.
Its has to be formed.

Darius 2006, its just you an me at this moment.

If you live in Montreal you must know of Free Wireless Internet HotSpots.
There are about 140 HotSpots(Cafes, Restaurants, etc) that are free to surf.

So Darius2006 if you know of anyone else who is a Nokia Tablet user, tell them to come onboard.

If you gather about 7-10 people then we'll meet at a cafe.

Regards Robert
