Can anyone help me with it?!
Do you have rootsh installed?

Code:
sudo gainroot
rm -f /var/lib/apt/lists/*
apt-get update

In which case, go into App Manager and disable all the repositories. Exit App Manager, then re-launch it and enable the repositories again. That should force a redownload of all the repository data and fix the corrupted files.

That sounds like it's failing to connect to the servers and timing out. Can you use the browser okay? If you've got rootsh installed, you could try running "apt-get update" as root, and seeing what error messages you get.

My application manager stopped working too. And so far I cannot apply any of the suggested solutions:
- I cannot install or uninstall anything as app manager shows that there are no applications installed (I have over 30 of them);
- I cannot disable any catalogs as it does not load list of catalogs (indefinitely tries to load them);
- I have also Faster app manager installed but this one shows error on any operation too (cannot update catalogs error message).
- I tried to run apt-get update and got error 'could not open lock file /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - permission denied'. I ran it as a root.
- one more weird thing - my phone is very warm now and the battery lasts for about 4 hours, usually I have about 36 hours of non stop using the phone.

Please help!
Thank you.

I am in the same boat, or possibly on the same harbour, as the poster above me.

*I cannot see any applications in the app manager
*I cannot uninstall any apps
*When I run: rm -f /var/lib/apt/lists/* it returns rm: cannot stat '/var/lib/apt/lists/*': stale NFS file handle

What does this mean? Any got any ideas of how to fix this?
