Well, one reason for that is your font calls itself "Nokia Sans" instead of tabhita or whatever that font name should be.
And another reason seems to be that Nokia has hardcoded Nokia Sans to be used in few places (like application launcher). Those cannot be changed with basic themming :/
Overwriting the original Nokia Sans font file isn't doable (or at least not with my knowledge) since I somehow should be able to know the filename and location of desired font to be able to copy it over the Nokia Sans -font.
Why would Application Manager not do an update for me?
Is Tracker Daemon anything to do with HAM or is it just to do with media player?
By default the HAM updates catalog once every 24 hours. You can update the catalogs by hitting the "update" -button @ HAM or by typing the "apt-get update" to xterm.
Glad I read the warnings about the widgets and shortcuts. Bit of a f@rt inducing moment when they all rearranged themselves to the top left of the home screen.
Noticed one bug myself; seems like fapman does not like the way package is uninstalled and sometimes it gets into state where hildon-desktop won't start. I will change / fix the uninstaller script in next version tomorrow.

But if you put the fonts I shared in /home/user/.fonts and restart you wil see that the fonts from attached pictures will be changed.
One question..and I'm not sure if it's even possible...I use a small font...which your +5 option makes the perfect size everwhere except the time in the notification area...the font remains the default size there...any way to change this by chance so the font enlarges there too?
either way I am loving this app, just figured I'd ask and see
