E-mail > [your account] > (Settings) at the top > Edit account > Signature (Button) > Use signature > Save

Just use the signature feature of the email account.

Edit the email account in question. Tap the button labelled 'Signature' and then put whatever text you like at the end of your email. Remember to tick the box to use the signature. Save everything then send a test email from that account, your signature will be added automatically.

    Go to the email application.
Click on the top until the drop down box appears.
    Click on edit accounts.
Click on the email you want to have the signature.
Click on the signature button on the right, below delete button.
Click on use signature, then type your message in the text box.

If you have Nokia Messaging, it's somewhat similar.

    Hope that helps!

And how blooming annoying. Whenever I receive one of those emails I feel like punching the sender in the face I had been using my Psion 5 to send emails via mobile phone last century and I didn't feel the need to announce that fact in my signature.

I've never got this one. why would it be beneficial, for the recipient, to be in the need to know the agent of the phone, like web-masters do, or is it just for 'show' reasons?

I'm pretty sure I have seen "Sent from Blackberry" long before the iPhone was ever heard of...

its a polite way of saying any typos are potentially a result of the small screen and keyboard......or

I'm not at my desk, but out and about, but you were important enough for me to respond before I get back to my desk
