According to the description, it's a GUI to set up more than 4 desktops/home screens (up to 9).

yes. app looks very promissing.

should be fairly easy to use with the picutres.

the big button with the germna on it says clear cache.

This works great for me! At last, the legendary 9 views become available and work as they should!

Now, what I want is View 1 to have nine numbers on it. Tapping any number will bring me instantly to that View. For example, tapping 4 on the screen will bring me to View 4.

And hitting something standard will always get me back to the first View. So I will be able to transport myself to any of the Views out there in just a couple of keystrokes.

why do people need 9 screens? I would get lost... I only use 1 anyway, and yes I am a power-user! but thats the great thing about this device, you can tailor it to your every need and wish !! (almost)

What you can do with 9 screens is leave more room for your beautiful backgrounds and not have too many shortcuts per view. Like, have a whole view dedicated to photography, or editing or programming.

I don't think so. Dead wallpaper does, though.

I woul think too many doodads would start to slow down the system.

I think that there was a discussion of this feature already. modified-hildon-desktop (which you have if you use 9 views) allows you to change view with the command

gconftool -s /apps/osso/hildon-desktop/views/current -t int 7

(where the 7 may be replaced with the number of view you wish to change to). So all you need is some configuration of Queen Beecon, or DCEW.
