For everyone interested we managed to make a flasher program that enables people to flash their n900 without all the fuss

    Windows/DOS only! (no linux support)

    Just download this file

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8253219/N900...-installer.exe

Install the program using the directory it chooses and run it. there are several options that can be choosen to flash. it is also possible to only flash kernel to a specific speed (overclock the n900) or flash it back to the stock when your n900 is in a reboot loop.

Try it and tell me if you like it!

This program is made by Reg and Jorim.tielemans.
Ideas and brainstorm were provided through my forum.

Maybe its a good idea to put this program on the wiki page or somewhere so that everyone can access it. We have a limited server for sharing this file. Maybe someone can put it on torrent.

Do you have someone to confirm that PR1.2 + EMMC for example works fine?

yeah i just reflashed to it. And it works fine. its only a UI for the flasher-3.5.exe program and does the code typing for you.

Keep in mind that the Firmwares in the package are the global versions.

The install notes on the right can be ignored. since we made a installer.exe program this all happens automatically

It also installs some extra driver files for the cable driver. Havent tested it on windows 7 64 bit. but there is a chance that it will work also, because of the extra drivers

    I'm with Windows 7 x64.
I have some issues and I have interest to flash with Global (since I'm in Bulgaria, European Union) PR.1.2 and EMMC.
It will be my first flash and I have some upcomming events - symposiums, conferenses.
I will wait until someone confirm it is complete safety to flash under Windows 7 x64.

    Thank you for share sygys
I hope more testers with share their experience
