I use screen on my N900 all the time since the wifi connection is so unstable and disconnects frequently.
Here's a screen tip that I use on all my systems, if you add this to your .screenrc you get a nice status bar that shows you "tabs" for your currently open screens in this session as well as current date and time:

That should be all on one line, in case the forum word-wrapped it...
Anyone know whether "screen" has been ported to the n900 or if anyone is working on it?
Id really like to use it in combination with irssi =)
