Joikuspot + Firefox = low res images

    Hi,
I'm not sure why this is the case, but when I tether via Joikuspot when I access images from website and also images from smugmug.com the images come across in low quality. In Firefox I use ctrl+f5 and it loads full sized images but on IE it just stays low-res. When I tether via BT I get the full image. What's going on? Joikuspot doesn't do any caching or any accelerating so it shouldn't be an issue. Can you guys help? Thanks.

Probably your mobile carrier has a proxy that resizes images, to save mobile bandwidth. Check your access point settings to see if it has a proxy. If they allow you to browse without proxy, that will probably fix the low-quality images problem. Some may force usage of the proxy, though.

I'm using T-Mobile and apparently that's what they're doing. It's not set to use a proxy but I think I read somewhere that it's forcing everything through a proxy.

I ended up doing the modify headers thing through Firefox and so seems to fixed it. I've also moved back to BT tethering.
