Hi all,

I'm looking for a specific kind of reminder tool to build new habits in the form of a repeating alarm clock which gives a very short but noticeable vibration/beep every fixed period (let's say every hour or so). Something along the lines of this:

Motivaider:
http://habit*change.com// (remove the asterisk from the url)
http://www.amazon.com/Behavioral-Dyn...f=pd_sbs_hpc_2

or this:

Invisible Clock 2
http://www.invisibleclock.com/

Maybe something similar already exists? If not, I think it would be relatively easy to build a small and neat app with similar functionality.Of course we already have our N900's in our pocket so why would we need yet another device :P .

I'm not a developer myself and I do not have programming knowledge, but of course I'm willing to help testing/improving the app if somebody is willing to spend some time on it.

Thanks!

Actually, I'm looking for an app for periodically reminding me of my medication intake. I think this one could be useful, hopefully some developer will take it up.

Could you not just use cron-jobs to execute a DBUS call to vibrate at a specified time?
