Use Mediabox with the youtube plugin. The api has updated, but mytube and canola has not

Note: just install MediaBox. You don't need the YouTube plugin as it was for an earlier version of MediaBox and YouTube is integrated now.

Works pretty well with microb on N810.

That is very nice, I might start using that on my regular computers too. Wish I knew about it when YouTube had that stupid gray bar for subscriptions. Doesn't seem to work on Tear or MicroB with Webkit, but works on my netbook with Midori, which is Webkit.
