Yes apologies. I noted the email address was correct so couldn't see that it was false. There you go. Here's your apology!

Anyhow, It happens everywhere I travel so can't give you a list of roads. It happened last week on holidays near Wales and it happens on the journey home and pretty much everywhere I travel. It happens at exactly 0.6 miles from a turn and just says, "Turn Right". Sorry I can't be more descriptive than that really.
Got to admit that Sygic Suport isn't exactly swift. I have contacted them officially on their website and replied here and still not had any meaningful response other than, "can you please let us know where exactly this is happening? "

Sygic: it happens everywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just thought I'd add my two pence. Same here, the last three trips to different locations in the UK were all the same, constant freezing, crashing, signal loss, re-boots. Also the same issue with voice guidance on distance to route changes. At 0.6 miles the voice demands "Turn left" instead of "after 0.6 miles, turn left". The count down to the direction change continues with no distance instructions, just further demands to turn, go over roundabout, keep right, whatever. This is quite a problem if you rely mainly on voice guidance. I now have to keep my eyes on the screen to check the distance on the display in order to avoid taking a wrong turn. This is dangerous, very dangerous. I'm using the English female voice, don't fancy a camp American telling me where to go! Distances are set to miles and yards.

The functionality of this latest v10 is in my view actually worse than the updated v9. As a voice guided mapping program, v10 is a fail, whereas v9 was completely usable, if a bit erratic on its route choices.

Glad to hear that it's not me being totally mad with the 0.6 mile Voice instruction.

I had the same issue with turning. It just said turn right very abrumtly.
I solved this by changing voices from the female UK voice to the male UK voice. It now gives the whole "In 600 metres turn right".

I have to agree with most peoples comments on here though V9 updated did not have half as many bugs. The new features in V10 are nice but seem to have been played off in terms of functionality.

Mhh... I'm currently trying to install the SMM10 Trial via Ovi Store, but it always tries to install version 9.

Is it still not approved by Nokia? If it matters - I'm in germany and this is my apt sources.list:

Thanks for the tip Casper27. I hadn't looked at the new voice options in v10 and 'Simon' sounds okay compared to v9's 'Lucien' male voice. I'll give it a bash on my next trip, can't say I'll be switching to kilometres and metres though, and this may be the root of the problem. Fingers crossed it isn't.

Now, if only it didn't keep crashing every few miles. I nearly picked up a speed camera last night because I hadn't noticed it had frozen on the A30 back from Cornwall...
