The only thing i couldn't figure out is how can one get out of the fullscreen mode ... could anyone help me out on that ?
I had the same trouble. Maybe simply tapping on the screen could bring up the "un-fullscreen" button, like it does in the browser.
Also, I think that it is a bad idea to use panning for reading books. Pages are far more natural and match better with the idea of bookmarks because it is more intuitive to know "where" we are ("page 79" vs. "somewhere a bit before the middle"). Furthermore, it is more cost-effective to have to perform just one small gesture to fill the screen with 100% new content. Interesting discussion here:
Can already see one advantage over fbreader - it has a true portrait mode, with the panel moved to the top, rather than a portrait book view in overall landscape mode. If you don't want to fullscreen (I like having the clock visible at all times) Dorian's way gives you more horizontal space.
You can have Fbreader in fullscreen with a clock visible at the page bottom. You should go to Preferences, Indicator tab and select Show Time.
1) an option in settings to hide the 4 little arrow that appear on the bottom when in full screen. you can assume that if someone has gone into settings and clicked "hide fullscreen release arrows" (or whatever it would be called) they know to click the bottom middle....
2) the ability to see toc in oreilly.com books. I know this can be done because a developer at fbreader enabled this for me. he gave me some mumbojombo about how the toc was in a seperate xml file (or space or something like that) for the oreilly.com books. If you need a book to check pm me and I can send one.
again thank you for the great app...now I use a developer build of fbreader due to toc, but I cant finger scroll or use the volume rocker. if you enable toc I will just use dorian...
i love this app, does anybody know if Dorian's developer is in this forum? because i would like more options for Color Scheme, like for example Black Background and Gray prints, (yes i like dark prints to read at nights)...

I don't know if he is here but he has been very quick to respond to my feature requests through the bugtracker.
