So, I have taken a lot of pictures with my n900, but today I noticed that the quality is to crappy, does anybody knows if there is a way to make it a little better?

go take some pictures outside, low light is usually the cause of bad pictures on mediocre cameras. or try the lowlight app.

Low light? I thought the N900 had a flash?

yeah but LED flash only really makes a worthless photo into a mediocre one. it won't really do anything for stuff more than 4-6 feet away.

in some N900s the flash bounces somewhere wrong and makes flash pictures too white (i think)

Also I found that after updating to pr1.2, default image quality had been set to low...

I also have the feeling that camera quality was better with PR 1.1. I took some great photos with PR 1.1. Not so with PR 1.2.

Mothmanex's image looks par for the course for a low-light image. That's as good as I get on my N900 in this situation.
Outside, in bright sunshine, the image quality is much better.
