How was that photo produced? The default camera app? I don't get that micro-bubbly effect visible at full res. It does occur however, with some sharpening algorithms. OP, any hints?
So, I have taken a lot of pictures with my n900, but today I noticed that the quality is to crappy, does anybody knows if there is a way to make it a little better?
I've been nothing but impressed with its image handling. Here is a pic I took a few days ago. I think your issue is light and angle...
I know how the OP feels. I'm sure my camera has got positively pants since the PR1.2 update.
I do use fCam and the two other Nokia offerings (HDR Capture and Lowlight), but I like the widescreen feature, but that's where the default Nokia camera is worst.

I'm about to buy this Nokia N900 but I heard that the front camera is not functioning well or you still have to download this "Mirror" application just to make use of it. So, I just want to ask if that issue is already solved. I'm currently using N79 which is very good when it comes to photography, I mean I think it has more camera features than n900, but still I want to upgrade my phone to n900. just want to make sure that i'll not make any wrong decisions in getting n900.
