I'm about to buy this Nokia N900 but I heard that the front camera is not functioning well or you still have to download this "Mirror" application just to make use of it. So, I just want to ask if that issue is already solved. I'm currently using N79 which is very good when it comes to photography, I mean I think it has more camera features than n900, but still I want to upgrade my phone to n900. just want to make sure that i'll not make any wrong decisions in getting that phone.
The mirror only does what the same suggests... it can't take a photo. Although the front camera is very poor, so even if you can use it the quality would be rubbish. I mainly use it for Skype video calling and it does the job.
But don't base your decision on a tiny camera!! the n900 is amazing XD
use it for video call would be fine, but not the high quality capturing .... i meant if u gonna take photo with ur girlfriend over the front cam, just forget about it .... it wont work
