I've not tried this app yet but apparently it enables access to all the paid and free content for market place for ppl with restricted access due to region or device.

Install panasonic low level formatting for SD card on your PC and do a low level formating to reclaim your SD, see this thread, #289. Post your results.

1st Kingston 4G, class 4; cannot tell if it is NOT running maemo!
2nd Kingston 4G, class 4; slow, but still manageble, but is not fun.
3rd Kingston 8G, class 4; painfully slow, to the point it is painful; you type a command, it waits for 2 -3 second, then it starts to crank....

I think it depends more on the read speed of the card in question. Class refers to the minimum write speed of the card.

For instance, I have a class 4 8gb and a class 2 4gb. The smaller class 2 card is far faster running nitdroid than the larger class 4 card.

Testing speeds in windows (using a card reader or the n900 itself), I found the write speeds to be similar. However, the class 2 card was around 50% faster on the read speed than on the class 4 card. I saw this in multiple tests. I have posted results in a thread here and on forum.nitdroid.com.

I suspect in most cases, it's the read speed that slows the system down (loading apps shouldn't involve much writing, but a lot of reading).

Bun, if you would perhaps test your cards and see if read speed is faster on the cards that work better?

I was using this, but any disk benchmark software should do. I did it both by using my n900 in mass storage mode (can compare to n900 32gb memory) or by using an sdcard reader.

From my post on nitdroid forums. Perhaps more like 30%, not 50%
    Code:
Using CrystalDiskMark 3.0 (free) on Win7, average of 5, 50MB test file.
Cards tested using a full size sd / usb adapter (A-Data Trio)

    PNY 8GB, class 4
              Read Write
    Seq: 14.03 8.249
    512k 13.36 1.195
    4k 1.904 0.011
    43-32 2.174 0.023

When I was using this card, NITDroid was slow, and lots of application not responding popups. Will retest with latest version.

    Sandisk 4GB, class 2
              Read Write
    Seq: 18.38 8.175
    512k 18.35 2.172
    4k 3.521 0.025
    43-32 3.673 0.035

Card works well, very quick, few if any application not responding popups.
As you can see the class 2 is better almost across the board compared to the class 4.

    bun,
please update the first post on installing 0.0.8 step 4 with:

    wget [url]http://downloads.nitdroid.com/e-yes/NitDroid-0.0.8-Popov.tar.bz2

because if someone tries to copy and paste the one you have in there they will get 404 error ( when i used the code tag it wrapped it and shrinked it)
    thanks
